Fox Grove Foxlings Bookings Due To Open May 2026
Welcome to my nature-led childminding setting here in Knighton. My journey to this point has been a beautiful blend of professional expertise, academic passion, and—most importantly—motherhood.
For the past ten years, I have dedicated my career to nannying, building deep and lasting bonds with the families I’ve served. To broaden my perspective on how children grow, I also spent two years working within both primary and secondary school settings. While I valued the structure of the classroom, I always found myself looking toward the window.
You see, I hold a Degree in Geography, and my heart has always belonged to "fieldwork." This academic background gave me a deep-rooted love for the outdoors, and I truly believe that the natural world is the richest classroom a child can have. I wanted to take the expert care I provided as a nanny and the educational insights I gained in schools, and bring them outside into the fresh air.
The true inspiration for this setting is my daughter, Nova. As a mother, I found myself searching for a childcare environment for her that didn't feel like an "institution." I wanted a space that felt like home, but was filled with the wonder of nature—a gentle, adventurous alternative to the traditional nursery.
To ensure the highest standards of safety and education, I have partnered with Tiney who are an Ofsted registered company. This means that while our days are filled with muddy boots and outdoor discovery, they are also grounded in a curriculum that is professionally regulated and high-quality. I’ve created this space for Nova, and now I am so excited to open those doors to your family too.
I understand that returning to work is a huge emotional milestone. My goal is to support families who want a professional childcare option that still feels like a "home-from-home."
By choosing a nature-led environment, you aren't just choosing childcare—you are choosing a childhood of exploration, backed by a decade of experience, and a lifelong love for our world from a Geographer.
I can’t wait to welcome your little adventurer into our circle.
Curiosity-Led Learning
We follow the child’s lead. If we find a beetle under a log, that becomes our science lesson for the day. This child-led approach fosters a lifelong love for learning and discovery.
Small Pack, Big Adventures
By keeping our ratios low (1:3 for our Foxlings), I ensure that every child is truly seen. We build strong emotional bonds, ensuring your child feels safe enough to take risks and explore.
Holistic Development
Nature provides the ultimate sensory experience. From the physical challenge of climbing a small hill to the quiet focus needed to sort acorns, we develop the "whole child"—physically, socially, and emotionally.
